How this health information is written and reviewed
The clinic publishes health information for families and for referring clinicians. This page explains who writes it, who reviews it, the sources it relies on, how often it is checked, and how to report an error.
About this page: Written by the clinic team. Last updated .
Who writes it
Pages are written by the clinic team in plain language, from published Canadian and international guidance.
Health information pages give general information. They do not replace advice from your child's own doctor or nurse practitioner, who knows your child.
Who reviews it
The clinic physician reviews every condition page and clinician guide before it is published, and the page shows the date of that review. A condition page or guide that has not been reviewed is not published.
Pages about referrals and the clinic's own policies restate facts found elsewhere on this site and show the date they were last updated.
The physician's name and credentials will be shown on each reviewed page once the physician profile is published on the About page.
Sources
The pages rely on guidance and information published by these organisations, and each health page lists the sources it used. The clinic is not affiliated with them.

How often pages are checked
Each health information page is reviewed at least every 12 months, and sooner when the guidance it relies on changes.
Each page shows the date it was last updated. A change to clinical content is reviewed again before it is published.
Independence
The site carries no advertising or sponsored content, and the pages do not promote any product, medicine brand or device. Where a treatment is mentioned, it is described in general terms.
Reporting an error
If something on this site looks wrong or out of date, send a message through the contact form with the page address and what needs correcting. Please do not include health details about your child. Every report is reviewed.
Next steps
Referring a child?
The clinic starts accepting referrals in January 2027. The criteria are published now.
A parent or guardian?
Families cannot refer themselves. Your child's doctor or nurse practitioner decides whether a referral to the clinic is right.
